Despite the somewhat old and slightly uncomfortable rooms with new carpet and paint but a little dark, my stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The service was okay, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location, while small given the number of guests, was still stunning and in a lovely area. The dining experience, though a bit chaotic due to limited breakfast seating, offered nice options ensuring a good start to the day.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely setting of the hotel, nestled in Carmel Valley with beautiful hills in the background. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and opened out onto a charming patio surrounded by vibrant gardens. The service was exceptional, welcoming us warmly even though we arrived late. The dining experience, while a bit basic, had some positives. The inn itself was a beautiful surprise, and the location was convenient for exploring Carmel Valley and its wineries.
